Dr. Laura to sign books in Glen Arbor, Michigan this week
Dr. Laura Stanton, author of The Gypsy Queen/La Reina Gitana, is set to sign her children's book about a family road trip across the western United States at Cottage Book Shop in Glen Arbor, Michigan this Wednesday, August 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.. The 46-page hardcover book was published last fall and features narrative in English and Spanish as well as fun facts about each state visited and personal journal entries from family members.
Spirited illustrations provided by U.K.-based artist Beth Armstrong bring the fiction adventure and educational content to life.
“I am thrilled with this book,” said Dr. Stanton of her second bilingual work. “As a child, I remember taking road trips and the impact they had on my development. Being able to see and revel in all the great things this country has to offer, particularly in the western part of the U.S., is an unforgettable experience.”
